Our tool is able to get you all kinds of link prospecting results in various volumes. But in order to use Dibz the right way and get the most relevant data, you should apply certain tricks of the trade.

There are many factors that can alter your search and shape your final list of results. Depending on how you frame your search and what info you feed to our tool, you will get more or less useful output.

To get more relevant link prospecting pages, pay close attention to the following search parameters:

The number and relevance of your keywords

The right keywords are paramount for your search. However, overdoing it with the number of provided keywords is likely to result in a ton of different results, and too broad a search. The optimal number of keywords and/or keyword phrases for a single Dibz search is 2 to 3.

Predefined advanced search options
In the second step of the process, you will be prompted to select the predefined advanced search parameters

Here you have the option to select the research type and research phrases for your search in order to narrow down the list of relevant results Dibz is going to bring back.

In this step you can choose the Research Type (for example: resources and link pages, local citations, guest blogging, forums, blog commenting, donations, reviews...)

Once you’ve selected the desired research type, you can then narrow down your search even further by choosing the desired Custom Search Parameters (which you can also decide to provide on your own, without selecting a research type previously).

Language and TLD
Make sure you choose the right language and top-level domain for your search. For example: if USA is your main target audience, be sure to opt for the .us TLD and choose English for the language of your search.

Depth

Depth is the option through which you can refine your search by specifying how many end results you want our tool to retrieve for each keyword/parameter combination.

It's where you set how deep you want Dibz to go.

We suggest you don’t go over 50 with your search depth. If you do, it will be harder for you to filter relevant search results from the ones that won’t be of much use to you.

Date Range
By setting the desired date range you select the specific time period from which you want Dibz to fetch the results. You can set the following date ranges:

  • Any time

  • Past 24 hours

  • Past week

  • Past month

  • Past year

It all depends on your search preferences.

This can be a tricky option, however, as changing the date range can significantly alter your search results, so make sure you always set a proper date range for your search.
